During March of 2018, Boston Meeker the Founder of Ohio Dreamers, attended the very prestigious Disney Dreamers Academy at Walt Disney World.  Yearly, over 11,000 high school students from all across the United States apply for the opportunity to attend the four day Disney Dreamers Academy which is packed with motivational speakers and networking events. Yearly only 100 students are selected from the whole United States.  “The weekend was truly life changing and inspirational.”  Boston was so inspired by this once in a lifetime experience that he wanted to encourage others in his community to not only apply for the Disney Dreamers Academy, but he also wanted to help motivate and inspire fellow students who may not have the opportunity to attend The Disney Dreamers Academy to follow their dreams and their career goals.  He modeled Ohio Dreamers after his experience at Disney to be a very similar mini event at a regional level in Ohio.  Ohio Dreamers brings in speakers in a variety of fields to motivate, mentor, and network with high school students to encourage them to dream big and to provide students with the tools and experiences to achieve their big dreams.  “I was so inspired by my experience, I wanted to give students in Ohio the same life changing experience.”
